Munachimso Okafor is a writer and spoken word artist. She began writing poetry at a very young age, and her love for the artform only grew overtime. She remains dedicated to the craft, pursuing her passions as a performance poet. Munachi expanded her creative reach in 2022 when she started a blog called Words on the Rocks. On this blog, she experiments with different writing styles, sharing some of her short stories, and a number of think pieces.

Munachi is a person who enjoys a good story. She has a deep appreciation for contemporary African fiction, and hopes to one day become a notable name in the genre. As a feminist, she believes it is important to tell stories that reflect the “woman condition”, so it is no surprise that she draws inspiration from authors like Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, and poets like Titilope Sonuga.
