Story: Dance Of The Butterfly
Triumph Olisekodiaka
Since stumbling upon her mother’s dusty Harlequin romance novel at the tender age of nine, Triumph transformed into a creative powerhouse with an insatiable thirst for storytelling. From penning her first poem anthology in secondary school to honing her craft through years of freelancing, she has cultivated a unique voice of her own, blending vivid imagery with thought-provoking narratives.
Whether she’s crafting compelling characters or curating the perfect wardrobe, her passion for aesthetics shines through, adding depth and vibrancy to her world. Though Triumph’s journey has not been without its challenges as she navigates the world as a person living with disabilities, through her writing, she strives to amplify marginalised voices and spark conversations that challenge societal norms. Ultimately, she aspires for her readers to be transported to new realms of imagination, where they are encouraged to contemplate deeper truths about themselves and the world around them. While her literary adventures have yet to grace the pedestal of bookstore shelves, Triumph eagerly embraces the path ahead, ready to make her mark on the world, one story at a time.
